Natalie vs. Karen

Phew! It's been a few weeks since I've posted a blog, and a lot has happened on Mob Wives.

Time to settle the score.

For the past few weeks, Karen Gravano and Natalie Guercio have been going back and forth between social media and mutual friends, Big Ang and Drita D'avanzo. The latest episode shows the two ladies finally confronting each other in person, and needless to say, things take a turn for the worse.

Assuming everyone saw the hair pulling, scratching fest, I see no reason to recap the events, so instead I'm going to address the root cause.

Twitter.

Natalie has been known to snipe her fellow cast members on Twitter, and her vicious words are the basis for Karen and Renee's issues with her.

Here's an idea. If you don't like what people are saying about you on Twitter, the website has this neat little option that you can utilize called the fucking "block button". Instead, Karen and Renee choose to bring Natalie up in conversation at any given moment, and to be quite honest, Ang has the very reaction I have, every time I listen to Renee's ranting about Natalie:

Get over it. In case the ladies haven't noticed, it takes two to argue on any platform, be it social media, or in person. As much as they seem to think that Natalie is "the devil", I highly doubt she's sitting with her Twitter in hand, plotting her next tweet to bring down the Gravano family.

As arguments are a two way street, so are apologies. Renee and Karen have trash-talked Natalie at every opportunity available to them, so where is their accountability? It seems as though their issues with Natalie stem from the fact that Big Ang and Drita choose to be friends with someone that they don't like, and again, Renee chooses to be a childish brat who throws a temper tantrum when things don't go her way.

Renee has been antagonizing Natalie for two seasons now, and has enlisted the help of Karen to continue the pot-stirring.

And now, with the addition of knock-off Natalie DiDonato, there's another clown to add fuel to the fire.

I never knew Ninja Turtles could be so evil... and it's disgusting to watch her on camera, as it's basically obvious she's on the show to get her fifteen minutes of fame. Every time we're stuck looking at her, her eyes shift to the camera to make sure the attention is focused on her. Natalie D has proven to be nothing but a bully with an agenda.

Modeling career?!

Here's hoping that OG Nat will be able to come through this season with her head held high, as she does every time.

Natalie Guercio: The Villainized Mob Wife.

Those of you who watch Mob Wives: Trust No One are familiar with a certain sex bomb who possesses a ferocious verbal arsenal that seems to land her in trouble more often than not. Of course, I'm talking about Natalie Guercio, one of the Philadelphia additions who was introduced to viewers in Season 4.

Natalie was brought into the group by Mob Wives veteran Renee Graziano, and needless to say, Natalie made quite an impression on viewers from the start of her tenure on Mob Wives. She was exactly what viewers have come to expect, as far as new cast members go.

Beautiful, opinionated, and always ready to spar with anyone who got in her way.

As the show progressed, viewers saw Renee sever ties with Natalie on account of the infamous "delicious" cologne remark that Natalie made to Renee's boyfriend of five minutes.

... Allow me to reiterate that point again, in case you missed Renee's drunken insanity: Cologne. Delicious. Boyfriend of five minutes.

Basically how I felt when I watched Season 4.

The "delicious" debacle went on for roughly seventy episodes (which I find hilarious, because the boyfriend of five minutes was featured in maybe 2 episodes), and finally, we arrive at Season 5. This season, Natalie is developing a friendship with fellow Mob Wives, Drita D'avanzo and Angela "Big Ang" Raiola. From Renee's behavior this season, it's clear that she doesn't want anyone to remain friendly with Natalie because Natalie is out to get her.

Oddly enough, if we look at Renee's history on the show, she has been at odds with every cast member at least once... but according to Renee, Natalie is the reason that "this circle of girls has officially been motherfucking tainted".

Ahem.

This season, it seems as though any scene featuring Renee is centered around Natalie and how much she despises her. Meanwhile, Natalie is busy building on her relationship with her boyfriend (of more than five minutes), while being under constant scrutiny by her fellow cast mates, due to Renee's inability to bury the hatchet. It has become quite clear who is being portrayed as the villain on this show because poor Renee didn't get her way, and ruining the wives' Las Vegas trip in the previous season wasn't enough for her.

Natalie, however, has stuck to her guns and stayed true to herself since we were introduced to her. Her friendships with the other women have been strongly cemented, and she has proven that she can maintain relationships without bringing an unnecessary level of drama. You don't agree? Well, take it from the other Mob Wives, who made it a point to say she is fun to hang out with.

Does Natalie have a mouth that could get her into a mess? Yes, and the viewers are well aware of this. But what many choose to ignore is that a lot of the verbal and physical altercations that have transpired stem from Renee's constant instigating and antagonizing nature.

Every reality show needs a villain, right?

Maybe it's time for viewers to look at the big picture and identify who the real villain is.
